About Me
Hello! I'm Anne Taylor, a textile artist, and I love dye, paint and stitch. I help quilters create joyful art quilts with simple paint effects and stitch on fabric.
In addition to being an experienced speaker, I also run block printing and fabric painting workshops.
I love to create gorgeous ice-dyed fabric: fabric packs and vintage wooden bobbins are available in my 5-star Etsy shop.
You can also find me at textile events in the South of England throughout the year.

Backstory
I have been sewing for over 50 years and quilting for 20 years now - how time flies!
I was first inspired to start quilting when my children were babies and I was gifted a quilt made by one of my friends. I looked at my baby curled up in it and thought "I bet I could make that too" and so a lifelong love of quilting began.
I joined my local quilting group and have learnt so much over the years. I love sharing the joy found in colour.
Nowadays, I focus on art quilts. I dye my own fabric and apply a variety of textural effects including fabric painting, block printing, oil paint sticks and stencilling. Followed, of course, by free-motion quilting.
I am a member of the Quilters' Guild, Meon Valley Quilters and South Coast Textile Artists. I am studying for the City and Guilds Diploma in Patchwork and Quilting.
